Performing and recording strings not only requires technical proficiency and mastery in playing and engineering the instrument, but in the details of musical phrasing and expression. Strings have the power to drive the entire emotional landscape of a composition. To do this - the performer must make countless musical decisions on different articulations, bow speeds, dynamics, and other nuances.

Our strings sections are special because we use three different violins and bows to record multiple takes and intentionally add variations in bow speed and vibrato. This simulates the magic that happens when you have three uniquely different players contributing to one part. The sound is richer, with more depth and complexity.
